New art and new song for my upcoming album.

OK, so I got response from zero081090 and now I'm able to use one of her art for a cover of my upcoming (sic!) album. Speaking of the devil, given how fast I'm working don't expect it soon, h4h4.

Zero mostly does insane, gothic, dark themes combined with manga or chibi style which fits perfect my idea to combine beauty and the beast. Anyway, I am a big fan of her work.

Now about the song.

It started at first with idea to do kind of tribute song for Stéphane Picq, which would resemble mostly Atlantis soundtrack and Dune to a lesser extent. What happened then? I scrapped whole song and made new one from scratch. >.< I hope it does still feel a little bit like Atlantis but with some tribal and Cthulhu influences here and there (maybe that's why it's called Sacred Path of the Old Ones). To make it even more fun, the whole song is created from FREE samples I found on Internet. But without any futher ado.

Heart Shaped Box - Nirvana Cover

Hi!

I was not writing for so long, it is time to remedy that.

So basically... I recorded my interpretation of Nirvana song Heart Shaped Box. My version have sublime, dark touch inside. I've used only my computer, no guitars, no other live instruments. 

To be honest with you I never really liked Nirvana, as I hardly have any respect for people that killed themselves. However there is something mad and deep about this composition, so I decided to give it a go. I'd like to mention that I was also influenced by Evenescence (another great band...) version of this song with deep, quasi-gothic/emo vocals. I planned to record vocals for my version as well, but then I decided it sounds better without it. It still have my "touch" so to say with dark electro landscapes. I've heard from quite a lot of people that it is better than original, so I'm glad.
